          This schematic illustrates the ballasting system that Wayne Gramlich imagines would keep the seastead from tipping over. 
          • The amount of water in the ballasts could be raised or lowered to move the seastead up and down.

          Active stabilization is nice but increases cost and complexity
          • I am searching for something that is stable enough to be outside the harbor but cheap enough I could afford to build it and make money renting it to adventure tourists
          • At 80 foot diagonal and 2 foot waves, this is just not going to tip too much. 
          A little bit of movement could add to the fun really, paying to get off the land and all
          • So while active stabilization is something to think about, not for this early version.
